STUDIO UNSEENS offers artisan-made products with a soul. It is a cultural trip through regions with a strong heritage in craftsmanship. We partner with passionate artisans. With the aim of preserving craft, we bring unique local businesses to an international market.

You will find co-designed and curated products, produced with time-honoured techniques. We aim to establish a long-lasting collaboration with each artisan by blending traditional skills with modern design. Look out for some vintage items as well.

UNSEENS partners with artisans, NGO’s and cooperatives directly, giving the maker better compensation for their work. Products are sold online directly to you without the interference of a middleman. By eliminating traditional industry mark-ups, we can offer products at more reasonable prices. Products are unique and contemporary, they are meant to last. They are not subject to seasonal sale.

Items are made by hand or by using traditional methods and produced with impact on people and environment in mind. We look for sustainable materials and seek to keep on improving. The products are made and traded in a fair trade setting, in the artisan’s studio or their chosen environment, never in sweatshops.
