ABOUT MUD CLOTH:
African mud cloth is a traditional Malian fabric that is dyed with fermented mud and plant dyes. It can take four days to a week to make, depending on the weather. Woven on a handloom in smaller strips before stitched together and soaked in a dye bath of tree leaves. Historically, the cloth is sun-dried then painted repeatedly with fermented mud.
This product is artisan-made, therefor minor differences in shape and colour might apply. Prints can vary a bit in location for example.
Preferably use a pillow insert that is 5 cm/2 inches bigger than the cover for a perfect fit.
