The textile arts are entirely handwoven on a backstrap-loom, inherited from their foremothers. All products have their humble beginnings as mercerized cotton threads and are dyed with natural colours or ones that don’t harm the lake. Artisans use threads and a bundle of sticks and ropes to set up the loom. The recycled leather used is PETA-approved, it’s a mix of upcycled leather and faux-leather without PVCs.
